When the caregiver also needs to be cared for.

There is a moment—a quiet one—in the lives of many parents of children with SEN.
Now is not the time for a diagnosis.
This is not the first meeting at the school.
This is not the first report that is difficult to read.
It's that moment, often at night, when the house finally falls silent…
And the weight appears.
The doubts.
Tiredness.
The feeling of needing to be strong all the time.
Raising a child with SEN is a journey filled with profound love, but also constant challenges. And often, parents go through this journey feeling alone.
It was from this listening—real, lived, shared—that the Support Project for Parents of Children with SEN of the Clube dos Brasileirinhos was born.
A space designed not to teach how to be a father or mother.
But to welcome.
For your information.
To strengthen.
The project begins on March 14th , with meetings on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM , at:
📍 Clube dos Brasileirinhos – NW6 6RG
There will be 11 in-person sessions , led by professionals who work alongside families: a psychologist, a specialist in SEN (Sensory and Emotional Intelligence), a therapist, and a nutritionist.
Throughout the meetings, we will discuss parental emotional health, SEN in practice (home and school), rights and EHCP, nutrition, communication, and we will also have moments of sharing and collective closure. But, more than the topics, what we want to build is a safe space.
A space where no one needs to explain too much.
Where experiences recognize each other.
Where support is mutual.
The project was initially created for the families of the club. However, we believe that support should not be restricted to a single circle.
Therefore, we are opening a limited number of spots for parents and caregivers who are not part of the Clube dos Brasileirinhos (Little Brazilians Club ).
Participation is free, but spaces are limited.
If you feel you need to walk alongside other parents who understand your reality, perhaps this is the time.

Sometimes, all that changes a journey is knowing that you're not alone.
